Penda Aiken Inc. is a staffing firm located in Brooklyn, New York. Our client is a New York State Agency and is seeking a detail-oriented Computer Operator to join their Nursing Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing data processing equipment, preparing technical data, and ensuring document accuracy within the department., * Data & System Operations: Monitor and control electronic computer and peripheral electronic data processing equipment to process business, scientific, engineering, and other data according to specific operating instructions.

• Document Production: Follow and understand instructions for the development of final copy materials on specialized word processing and computer equipment.
• Quality Assurance: Proofread and correct documents to maintain high professional standards.
• Reporting & Visuals: May develop graphs, spreadsheets, charts, and web pages to support department data tracking.

Do you have experience in Word processing?, This is a fast-paced role requiring high reliability, punctuality, and the ability to meet strict deadlines while maintaining meticulous attention to detail., * Core Competencies: Must have comprehensive knowledge of business English, spelling, grammar, punctuation, and basic arithmetic.

• Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of standard Office Suite software packages with a demonstrated ability to learn new software and systems within a reasonable timeframe.
