Senior Software Engineer

The Software Engineer will support a mission-focused software suite of applications, including current and future capabilities as operational needs evolve. This role focuses on developing, sustaining, troubleshooting, and integrating mission-critical applications within a modern containerized and Kubernetes-based environment.

Day-to-day responsibilities include software development, testing, deployment, and integration with a mix of COTS, GOTS, and FOSS technologies supporting operational mission systems.

Key technical areas include:

• Linux CLI and Linux tools
• Bash scripting
• Recent Python 3.x development experience
• Rust programming concepts (or strong willingness and aptitude to learn Rust)
• MongoDB and NoSQL database technologies
• Docker and containerd
• Kubernetes orchestration
• Helm chart creation and Kubernetes deployments
• RabbitMQ messaging frameworks
• GitLab CI and CI/CD pipelines
• Infrastructure as Code concepts using tools such as Ansible
• Git source control

Desired experience includes PostgreSQL and Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence.

This role requires an active TS/SCI with a Polygraph. Unfortunately, CTRL+ is unable to sponsor clearances or polygraph processing for this position, so candidates must already possess the required clearance and polygraph to be considered.
