Job description

The Workday AMS Lead (Techno-Functional) owns end-to-end delivery of Workday Application Management Services, providing both functional and technical leadership. This role is accountable for stable production operations, SLA adherence, stakeholder management, and governance across Workday functional modules and integrations, while acting as the primary escalation and decision owner in steady state. Key Responsibilities

  • Own overall AMS delivery for Workday functional and integration support (L1/L2), ensuring SLA and KPI adherence

  • Act as the final escalation point for critical incidents and complex techno-functional issues

  • Perform and govern cross-module and cross-integration impact analysis before fixes or reruns

  • Lead incident, problem, and root cause management, including preventive actions for recurring issues

  • Review and approve configuration and integration fixes within approved AMS scope

  • Serve as the primary client-facing lead, providing operational updates, risk visibility, and resolution plans

  • Establish and maintain SOPs, runbooks, and knowledge articles for steady-state operations

  • Coordinate releases, regression validation, and post-release stabilization activities

  • Provide technical and functional guidance to onshore/offshore teams; mentor and review deliverables

Requirements

Do you have experience in Workday?, * Strong hands-on experience across Workday Functional modules (HCM, Compensation, Talent, Benefits)

  • Solid Workday integration support experience (EIB, PECI, Core Connectors; Studio - support focus)

  • Deep understanding of Workday Business Process Framework and cross-module impacts

  • Proven AMS / Production Support experience (L1/L2) with ITSM tools (ServiceNow or equivalent)

  • Ability to analyze integration logs, data issues, security/access impacts

  • Strong stakeholder communication, governance, and escalation-handling skills

  • Experience leading onshore/offshore teams in steady-state support models

  • Strong communication skills for HR and business stakeholder interaction
