Job description

The System Status Coordinator (SSC) is responsible for monitoring, coordinating, and optimizing real-time operational resources to ensure effective service delivery. This role maintains system awareness, supports field personnel, and ensures proper unit coverage through continuous status tracking and strategic deployment., * Monitor real-time status of field units, personnel, and system coverage using CAD or tracking systems

  • Coordinate deployment and redeployment of resources based on demand, call volume, and geographic coverage
  • Maintain situational awareness of system performance, response times, and service levels
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, field staff, supervisors, and leadership
  • Proactively identify gaps in coverage and initiate corrective actions
  • Track unit availability, out-of-service units, and operational readiness
  • Support incident management by coordinating resources during high-demand or emergency situations
  • Ensure compliance with operational policies, system status plans, and regulatory standards
  • Document significant system events, changes, and issues accurately
  • Assist with shift transitions by providing status reports and operational updates

Requirements

Do you have experience in Data-driven problem-solving?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred)

  • Experience in EMS, public safety, dispatch, or logistics coordination preferred
  • Familiarity with Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) systems and GPS tracking tools
  • Strong understanding of deployment strategies and system status management principles

  • Previous experience in EMS, non-emergency medical transportation, dispatch, or logistics coordination
  • Familiarity with CAD systems, scheduling platforms, and GPS tracking tools
  • Understanding of IFT operations, hospital workflows, and patient transport prioritie
