Job description
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Project Manager to oversee technology infrastructure and construction-related projects throughout the Reno area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction project management, AIA billing procedures, low-voltage systems, and fiber optic infrastructure. This position requires an individual who can effectively manage multiple projects while maintaining strong relationships with customers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams., · Manage projects from award through completion
· Develop and maintain project schedules and Gantt charts
· Coordinate labor, materials, subcontractors, and customer requirements
· Track project budgets, costs, forecasting, and profitability
· Prepare and manage AIA billing applications and supporting documentation
· Review contracts, scopes of work, and project specifications
· Conduct project meetings and maintain accurate project records
· Ensure project milestones, schedules, and deliverables are achieved
Requirements
Do you have experience in Word embeddings?, The successful candidate will possess a patient, balanced, and professional personality with the ability to navigate challenging situations while keeping projects on schedule and within budget., · PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification preferred
· Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred
· Minimum 5 years of project management experience in construction, telecommunications, low-voltage, or related industries
· Experience managing commercial construction projects
· Experience with AIA billing, progress billings, and project cost tracking
Required Skills & ExperienceConstruction & Technical Knowledge
· Understanding of fiber optic cable installation and structured cabling systems
· Ability to read and interpret:
o Construction blueprints
o Line diagrams
o One-line diagrams
o Concept drawings
o Shop drawings
o Construction specifications
· Familiarity with commercial construction processes and project lifecycle management
· Understanding of change orders, RFIs, submittals, closeout documentation, and commissioning activities, Candidates must be proficient in:
· Microsoft Excel
· Microsoft Word
· Adobe Acrobat/PDF editing software
· Microsoft Project or equivalent scheduling software
· AutoCAD or CAD viewing software
· Budgeting and project tracking software
· Gantt chart development and management
