Data Centers Software Troubleshooting

Job description

  • Perform loopback testing, circuit verification, and connectivity checks.
  • Install, terminate, and troubleshoot fiber and copper cabling.
  • Support hardware installations, rack-and-stack activities, and data center infrastructure.
  • Inspect, label, and document circuits, network paths, and cable routes.
  • Identify and isolate issues found during testing and troubleshooting.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and participate in required safety briefings while working onsite.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Technical documentation?, * 2-3years of experience in data center operations, structured cabling, or field services.

  • Experience with fiber optic and copper cabling.
  • Familiarity with cabling hand tools such as punch-down tools, crimpers, tone testers, snips, and cable testers.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

  • OTDR/PMLS fiber testing.
  • Fusion or Mechanical Splicing.
  • Experience supporting enterprise data center deployments.

Physical Requirements

  • Lift up to 50 lbs (move up to 75 lbs).
  • Comfortable working on ladders, in confined spaces, and standing/walking for extended periods.
  • Good color vision and ability to read cable labels and technical diagrams.
