ServiceNow Developer (Jr)

Position Summary: The ServiceNow Developer will support the development, configuration, enhancement, testing, and maintenance of ServiceNow applications and platform capabilities within the Department of Defense community. Working under the guidance of Senior Developers, Solution Architects, and Technical Leads, the Developer will participate in Agile software development activities supporting mission-critical ServiceNow solutions and digital transformation initiatives. This role is ideal for individuals with foundational ServiceNow development experience who are looking to expand their expertise in ServiceNow platform development, workflow automation, integrations, DevSecOps, and federal government enterprise systems., * Assist in the design, development, configuration, and maintenance of ServiceNow applications and platform components;

• Knowledge of ITSM, ITOM, SPM, CSM and HRSD modules
• Configure forms, workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, notifications, and catalog items
• Participate in Agile and SAFe ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, backlog refinement, and reviews to support delivery
• Assist with REST/SOAP integrations, Integration Hub, and MID Server activities
• Develop and execute unit, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing

• Support CI/CD pipeline activities, deployments, and release management Create and maintain technical documentation and configuration guides

• Assist with platform maintenance, upgrades, patch testing, health scans, and incident resolution

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
• 1-2 years of ServiceNow development, administration, or platform support experience
• Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Flow Designer, REST APIs, and ServiceNow fundamentals
• Understanding of Agile software development methodologies, * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or willingness to obtain
• Experience supporting federal government or DoD environments
• Familiarity with DevSecOps, NIST, RMF, and STIG concepts
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work effectively within Agile teams
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Customer-focused mindset and commitment to continuous improvement
