Job description

We are seeking a talented and innovative Web Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in digital and graphic design, user experience (UX), and front-end development. This role offers an exciting opportunity to craft engaging, responsive websites that meet both aesthetic and functional standards. The successful applicant will be responsible for designing visually compelling web interfaces, enhancing user interaction, and ensuring seamless website performance across various platforms., * Develop and implement innovative web designs using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, and Adobe XD.

Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups with Balsamiq, Axure, InVision, and Visio to illustrate design concepts.
Collaborate with developers to translate design specifications into functional websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, React, Node.js, PHP, and SQL.
Ensure websites are optimised for search engines (SEO) and adhere to best practices in responsive web design for optimal performance on desktops, tablets, and mobile devices.
Conduct user research and usability testing to refine interface designs and improve overall user experience (UX).
Maintain existing websites through updates, content management systems such as WordPress or Drupal, and website maintenance protocols.
Utilise analytics tools like Google Analytics to monitor website traffic and user behaviour for continuous improvement.
Implement accessibility standards and information architecture principles to enhance usability for all users.
Stay current with emerging web technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions.

Requirements

Do you have experience in WordPress?, * Proven experience in digital design with a strong portfolio showcasing web projects.

Proficiency in front-end development including HTML5, CSS3 (SCSS/SASS), JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, Redux, AJAX, and Node.js.
Extensive knowledge of graphic design tools including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, InDesign, Acrobat, and Flash.
Experience working with content management systems like WordPress and Drupal.
Familiarity with UI/UX principles alongside wireframing tools such as Balsamiq or Figma.
Understanding of SEO strategies and analytics platforms like Google Analytics.
Knowledge of data analysis skills using SQL or MySQL databases.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple projects efficiently.
