Security Analyst

• Monitor and analyze security logs and events to identify and respond to potential security incidents
• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards to protect company data and systems
• Perform regular security testing and vulnerability scanning to identify and remediate any weaknesses
• Collaborate with IT and other teams to ensure security measures are integrated into all systems and processes
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and trends, and make recommendations for improvements to our security posture
• Conduct employee training and awareness programs to promote a culture of security within the organization
• Participate in incident response and disaster recovery planning and testing
• Document and maintain accurate records of security incidents and remediation actions
• Assist with regulatory compliance efforts and maintain knowledge of relevant laws and regulations

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of security principles, standards, and best practices
• Experience with security tools and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and vulnerability scanners
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements such as HIPAA and GDPR
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Relevant certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, Security+) are a plus
