Job description
Title Work Study IT Service Center Technician Position Description Department Information BSU’s IT Service Center provides 24/7/365 technology support for faculty, staff, and students. Assistance is provided via chat, phone, or email., Student employees will be trained to troubleshoot a variety of account and computer issues ranging from installing software, assisting customers with logging into their account to fixing printer issues.
Beyond the training, you will be part of a team that plays a critical role in the daily operations on the BSU Campus.
Requirements
Must be a Bridgewater State University undergraduate student registered for a minimum of six credits for the Fall 2026 semester., 1.Excellent customer service skills.
- Maintains a good academic standing.
- Ability to work independently and to learn quickly.
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Knowledge of: * Office 365 (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) * Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox, Safari * Operating Systems (Windows, Mac) * Blackboard * InfoBear * Anti-virus software * Navigating BSU Website * Software Support * Printer Support
Physical Demands Able to lift up to 20 pounds
