#1 about 2 min

Balancing architectural trade-offs without silver bullets

Why software architecture requires balancing practical trade-offs rather than searching for perfect solutions.

#2 about 3 min

Understanding request-driven architecture and service orchestration

How orchestrators manage clear execution flows through highly coupled request-driven services.

#3 about 4 min

Transitioning to event-driven service choreography patterns

How event brokers decouple systems to enable resilient and autonomous service choreography.

#4 about 2 min

Analyzing the drawbacks of event-driven architectures

Why event-driven systems complicate distributed debugging, process tracking, and scalable transaction management.

#5 about 4 min

Using event notifications for simple state updates

How minimal event payload structures require service callbacks that can compromise strict system availability.

#6 about 3 min

Implementing event-carried state transfer for systemic autonomy

How embedding full state data within events removes dependencies and significantly improves system availability.

#7 about 4 min

Capturing historical system changes with event stores

How preserving a complete sequence of data events unlocks retrospective queries and advanced business analytics.

#8 about 4 min

Rebuilding state and ensuring auditing through event sourcing

How treating the event store as a single source of truth enables comprehensive system repopulation and data auditing.

#9 about 3 min

Balancing architectural complexity with practical business value

Why fulfilling business requirements efficiently matters more than strictly adhering to autonomous microservice patterns.
