The Future Is Calling But You're Busy Prompting

If you're wondering where you belong as AI takes on more of the coding, learning another prompting technique won't answer that question. Mastering the use of coding agents isn't enough to prepare us for the future of software engineering. We've become consumers of agentic systems at a time when we need to be building them. While we focus on getting AI to write our code, we're giving too little attention to the applications we should be creating and the skills we'll need to create them. In my role at the Agentic AI Foundation, I work with hundreds of companies who are actively designing for the software of the future. In this keynote, We'll examine the engineering work required to build those systems, and how you can prepare to do it.
