Tom Palczewski is a Tech Lead, Expert AI/ML Applied Scientist - Generative AI at SAP, where he works on Foundational Models for structured data and knowledge graphs. Previously, he was a Staff Machine Learning Engineer 2 and Staff Data Scientist at Samsung Research America, where he applied his knowledge and skills in generative AI, recommender systems, and data engineering to create novel solutions for Samsung's products and services. He has over 10 years of experience in research and development of data-driven models at scale, spanning modeling on structured-data, graphs, development of custom computer vision, and natural language processing solutions. He has worked and collaborated with prestigious institutions such as CERN, J-PARC, the University of Alabama, LBNL, and UC Berkeley. His book about production ready applied Deep Learning was well received (https://a.co/d/3pG9bLT). He is also an author of multiple publications (https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=v5PUqKkAAAAJ&hl=en) and patents, a recipient of the Antarctica Service Medal. He is passionate about pushing the boundaries of AI and making an impact on the world. Tom holds a PhD in Physics from the National Centre for Nuclear Research and an Executive MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology. In parallel to his studies in Physics, he has finished PhD studies in Economics at the Warsaw School of Economics (abd).

Léo Grinsztajn is a research scientist at Prior Labs, where he leads the development of the next generation of Tabular Foundation Models. During his PhD at Inria Saclay, he developed new general-purpose models and benchmarks for tabular data. He holds degrees in computer science and mathematics from École polytechnique.

As managing director for SAP Labs U.S., Yaad oversees the strategy and operations for SAP’s largest development hub, with more than 5,000 employees across 11 locations. He champions employee engagement, fosters strong ecosystem partnerships, and ensures smooth operations and communication. He also leads location strategy for the largest concentration of SAP’s cloud development talent in the U.S. Beyond his U.S. focus, Yaad leads the global Research & Innovation team that spearheads research, explores new and emerging technologies, and matures them for enterprise-ready use in the SAP application and platform portfolio. Prior to his current roles, he steered SAP’s Technology & Innovation strategy, shaping the company’s technological direction. Since joining SAP in 2005, Yaad has held various leadership positions in development and product management across various product groups. He has a B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and an MBA from Tel Aviv University
