Edward Aryee

Edward Aryee is a San Francisco-based software engineer, AI researcher, and startup founder who serves as the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Laminar (formerly SRE.ai). Backed by Y Combinator (F24), Laminar is a Salesforce delivery company that builds AI agents to analyze, build, and govern enterprise systems—streamlining deployments, releases, and testing for orgs ranging from SMBs to the Fortune 10. Before launching Laminar in 2024, Edward worked as an engineer and AI researcher at Google Research, developing automation tools and helping build some of the world's most widely used AI software, including Translate and Gemini. His experience navigating Google's internal infrastructure revealed a stark gap in mainstream enterprise tooling, inspiring him to co-found Laminar and bring context-aware delivery to business software. Additionally, Edward is an active operator angel in the early-stage startup ecosystem, investing in and advising early-stage founders as a member of the BAG Collective, a network of tech operators and investors funding seed and Series A technology startups.
