Julia Elliott

Julia Elliott is the Vice President of Technology and Chief of Staff to the Chief Technology Officer at Expedia Group, where she plays a central role in driving the technology organization's strategic priorities, operating cadence, and AI transformation agenda. She joined Expedia Group in January 2026, bringing with her a decade-long career at Google, drawn to the company by what she describes as travel's uniquely interesting problems to solve. Julia served as Chief of Staff and Head of Strategy and Operations for Developer X at Google, where she honed expertise in scaling engineering organizations and driving cross-functional alignment. At Expedia Group, Julia is part of the senior leadership team building out the company's new San Jose AI and engineering hub — a deliberate push to compete for elite AI and ML talent in the heart of Silicon Valley. She holds an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and brings a rare combination of operational rigor and technology leadership to her work.
