Mark Cavage

Mark Cavage is President of Docker. Over a 25-year career spanning AWS, Oracle, Heroku, Stripe, and Docker, he has moved from senior and principal engineer to engineering leader to business leader. That arc gives him a perspective few executives have: he has written the systems, led the teams building them, and run the businesses that depend on them. Today, Mark is leading Docker through the shift to agentic software development, helping more than 20 million developers give AI agents real autonomy while keeping control of their code, credentials, and infrastructure.
