Nikhil Gandhi

Nikhil Gandhi is the Senior Vice President of Engineering for Yahoo Mail, where he oversees global engineering, product, and design for one of the world’s largest consumer communication platforms. He oversees a global team, leading technical strategy and execution across core messaging infrastructure, AI-driven experiences, spam and safety systems, and platform modernization, while driving user growth, engagement, and monetization. His organization also supports critical priorities including privacy, data governance, security, and global infrastructure at scale. Prior to Yahoo, Nikhil was Head of Engineering for Ads Platform at TikTok, responsible for monetization systems powering a significant share of revenue, including creator tools and in-app commerce. He previously held leadership roles at Meta, scaling the Ads Experience organization globally, and spent a decade at Apple helping grow the Apple Online Store into a multi–tens of billions business while leading global engineering for Apple.com. A deeply technical leader, he combines strong product and platform instincts with a track record of building high-performing global teams and delivering complex systems at scale.
