Suren Konathala

Suren Konathala is a technologist, enterprise architect, engineering leader, and speaker with more than 25 years of experience building large-scale digital platforms and enterprise software solutions. He currently works at Microsoft as a Digital Platforms Capability Lead and has held roles as a developer, architect, consultant, and engineering leader across startups, consulting firms, and Fortune 100 enterprises. He holds a master’s degree in Computer Science and has studied at Carnegie Mellon University and Stanford University. Suren is passionate about Open source software, Java, enterprise architecture, digital experience platforms and artificial intelligence. He is an international conference speaker, published author, mentor, IEEE Senior Member, RSA Fellow, and Jakarta EE Ambassador. He enjoys sharing practical lessons from real-world implementations and advocates for a more inclusive, open, and community-driven approach to technology innovation.
