Tommy Tran

Tommy Tran is a software engineer at Meta, where he leads work on automated capacity efficiency, building the AI-agent systems that keep Meta's large-scale AI infrastructure running efficiently. He authored Meta's Engineering Blog publication on that work, which was covered by the technical press, and he has been profiled by international media, including a feature interview on the French technology program Monde Numérique. Earlier, he built machine-learning systems for ads and monetization at Meta and for sales automation at Ramp. He holds an MSc in Data Science from École Polytechnique (X) and HEC Paris, and is a selected speaker at leading AI and developer conferences. His work spans applied generative AI and AI-agent systems, including their application to large-scale AI infrastructure.
