Senior Backend Engineer - Java (m/w/d) at osapiens Holding GmbH

Requirements

Expertise in Java/JavaEE and Spring Framework, with a deep understanding of building high-performance, scalable backend systems
Familiarity with NoSQL databases like Cassandra, ScyllaDB, or similar
Strong web services expertise in designing and integrating RESTful and GraphQL APIs
Proficient in automated testing and CI/CD practices to ensure continuous delivery of high-quality code.
Experience with distributed systems, focusing on scalability and fault tolerance
Hands-on experience with search technologies like OpenSearch, Elasticsearch, or similar
Proficient in Git for version control and collaborative development
Agile mindset with experience working in cross-functional teams and sprints
Experience with DevOps

Scope of Work

Design and build scalable, reliable backend systems that power the osapiens HUB, using Java and modern technologies
Develop core business logic to support enterprise-grade software solutions and solve complex real-world challenges
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineers, product managers, designers) to create seamless, integrated end-to-end solutions
Develop and maintain web services (RESTful, GraphQL) to integrate with various platforms and support clients' needs
Ensure high-performance, scalable solutions that meet the growing demands of global enterprises
Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in coding, testing, and development processes
