Although not recognizable as an emergency device at first glance, it enables users to call for help easily and immediately, anytime and anywhere. This way, we provide an extra dose of safety and we can save lives in the truest sense of the word. However, the Patronus watch itself is only the door opener to develop numerous other groundbreaking products to improve the lives of older people, their relatives and their caregivers. Our vision is to use the enormous possibilities of modern technology to provide the best possible healthcare for our customers. In this way, we contribute to making the healthcare system more effective - and ensure a life worth living.
Why Patronus Exists
Patronus was founded after our Founder Ben saw a fundamental problem with traditional emergency systems: they existed, but they weren’t used.
His grandparents owned classic home emergency buttons. They were bulky, stigmatizing, and disconnected from everyday life. Most of the time, they sat unused on a nightstand.
That became a real issue the day Ben found his grandmother on the bathroom floor, unable to call for help.
That experience exposed a gap between having safety technology and actually using it. Patronus was built to close that gap.
What We’re Building
We’re building a digital platform for everyday care, combining hardware, software, and real-time services into one integrated system.
At the core is the Patronus Watch:
a wearable device designed to be reliable, intuitive, and always with the user.
Today, the Patronus Watch is worn by 20,000+ customers across Germany, and we continue to grow in complexity, scale, and impact.

Step 1: Application
To apply, all we need is your CV. You're welcome to include a short note on why you'd be a good fit, your salary expectations, and your current notice period.
Step 2: Screening
We take time to carefully review every application. You'll usually hear back from us within a week. If things take a little longer we will inform you accordingly.
Step 3: People Interview
If your profile matches the role, we’ll invite you to an initial conversation with our People Team. In this interview, we’ll discuss your previous experience, your motivation, and address any first questions you may have.
Step 4: Hiring Manager Interview
In the next step, you’ll meet your potential lead. The focus here will be on your technical qualifications and expectations for the role.
Step 5: Technical Interview
You’ll then participate in a technical interview to demonstrate your expertise and problem-solving skills. This allows us to better understand your capabilities while giving you insight into the kinds of challenges you would work on at Patronus.
Step 6: Office Invite
As a final step, we’ll invite you to our office, where you’ll meet your potential team and gain an even better understanding of your future role.
