Job description

Ad hoc interventions

  • Perform quick and targeted interventions at customer sites (e.g., replace and configure switches and firewalls)
  • Resolve urgent malfunctions and technical incidents
  • Ensure smooth feedback and documentation upon completion

Project-based assignments

  • One or more days at the same client for larger assignments
  • Install and replace multiple workstations (e.g. 10+ PCs)
  • Renew and configure complete installations of switches and network equipment
  • Support the setup and renewal of server rooms
  • Working closely with one of our internal specialized Competence Centers on larger projects (Cloud, Modern Workplace, Networking)

Advisory role

  • Engage with customers to identify their IT needs
  • Identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions from a helicopter view
  • Helping clients strategically align their IT infrastructure with their business goals

General responsibilities *

  • Act as a point of contact for customer technical questions
  • Document and report interventions and project results
  • Proactively contribute to knowledge sharing and collaboration within the team
  • Collaborate on innovation and further professionalization of IT services

Requirements

Do you have experience in Project management?, Technical knowledge

  • Broad knowledge of IT infrastructure and network technologies
  • Experience with switching, firewalls and migrations
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft technologies and Azure
  • Experience with hardware from HP and Dell
  • A relevant firewall certification (or willingness to obtain one)

Experience

  • Multiple years of work experience within a Managed Service Provider environment
  • Experience with both ad hoc interventions and project-based assignments

Languages

  • Dutch: excellent command in word and writing
  • English: professional use for clients and documentation
  • French: a nice plus

Personal skills

  • Be able to work independently and take responsibility
  • Maturity and professional appearance during customer visits
  • Basic knowledge of project management to address interventions in a structured way
  • Strong communication skills: you can explain complex IT issues clearly
  • Flexible mindset and problem-solving ability
