Teamlead System Engineers - region Machelen, Zedelgem, Sint Niklaas

As Teamlead System Engineers, you are the driving force behind a team of engineers. You help solve complex cases, monitor the planning and guide your colleagues in their growth. With your leadership, technical expertise and helicopter view, you ensure strong results and satisfied customers., Technical leadership

• Act as a specialist and point of contact for complex and challenging cases
• Guide and support the team on difficult technical issues
• When necessary, assist as a System Engineer yourself in interventions and projects
• Structure and direct projects from a project management perspective

Team coaching and follow-up

• Lead and motivate a team of 8-9 system engineers
• Monitoring the professional growth and development of team members
• Guide team members through their technical and personal challenges
• Be present weekly at all locations to keep in touch with the team

Operational responsibilities

• Maintain overview of pending tickets and work distribution
• Participate in the planning of interventions and projects
• Approve leave requests and ensure balanced staffing
• Organize weekly meetings with other team leads for coordination and collaboration

Organizational and personal responsibility

• Manage own schedule and set priorities independently.
• Actively contribute to the optimization of processes within the team.
• Function as liaison between the team and management.
• Ensure a culture of collaboration, knowledge sharing and customer focus.

Do you have experience in Project management?, Technical expertise

• Thorough knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking and Microsoft technologies.
• Experience with complex cases and working out solutions.
• Strong background in project management and process optimization.
• Willingness to actively participate as a System Engineer when required.

Leadership Skills

• Demonstrated experience in managing and coaching a technical team.
• Ability to guide team members in their professional and personal growth.
• Talent for maintaining a helicopter view and overview.
• Decisiveness and maturity in taking responsibility.

Experience and background

• Multiple years of experience within an MSP environment or similar context.
• Experience in monitoring schedule, following up on tickets and organizing team processes.
• Affinity for stakeholder management and collaboration with other team leads.

Languages

• Dutch: perfect command in word and writing.
• English: readily usable in professional context.
• French: a plus., + Independent, structured and results-oriented.

• Strong communication skills: you can explain clearly to both customers and team members.
• Flexible and solution-oriented attitude.
• Willing to attend weekly at all locations to ensure proximity and commitment.
