Job description
- You combine leading a team and delivery. You are responsible for the successful delivery of the Customer Data part in the different digital and STP Mandate journeys net to the Product Lead. You interact continuously with the Product Lead, IT Integrator, Solution Architects and Lead engineers in the squads. The delivery within Customer Data includes Holders & Pro
- y management which includes digital journeys for role management, customer reporting and legal status changes. Technology is based on Java, Springboot, LitElement, LitHTML, Frontend Webcomponents. Number of squads in scope +/- 6.
- You actively coach and encourage engineers to develop themselves. You help them being successful in their day to day. You hire new talent. The scope of the chapter is linked to DevOps engineers mainly working on mandate management. You optimise the setup of the squads for successful delivery and are part of the roadmap building. You make the technical choices in collaboration with key people. You create high performing squads that deliver on the e
- pected timelines and help them by removing impediments. You make sure delivery is done according to standards (coding standards, test automation, pipeline checks, security & observability standards, re-usability …). You make sure the assets comply with the reliability and risk e
- pectations.
- You define and manage also the work packages / sourcing linked to mostly Mandate management.
- If time allows, you support the squad in engineering.

- Work in an international agile environment, * The IT area "Customer Data and Onboarding" focus on the customer onboarding digital journeys and the customer processes and data. The IT applications are at the heart of the bank, so the area is collaborating locally and globally with many tribes.
- In the coming years the area will continue to work on strategic digitalization projects, contribution to ING group solutions and a huge modernization of the IT landscape.
- The area consists of more than 120 engineers, located in Brussels, India and Manilla.

Requirements
Do you have experience in TypeScript?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's Degree or higher in a technical discipline, preferably computer science 10+ years of e
- perience in designing and implementing large scale enterprise applications 3+ years of e
- perience in building and leading a strong engineering team
- Solid software development background including design patterns, object-oriented programming and test-driven development
- Strong knowledge on E2E application development and maintenance from requirement gathering to deploying to Production
- Strong knowledge of client-side development in CSS3, HTML5, TypeScript/Javascript, or above, LitElement, LitHTML framework and other JS libraries
- Strong knowledge of server-side development in Java, Springboot, Apache Kafka, Event-driven architecture and Microservices. E
- perience of working in Database systems Cassandra, Oracle (in both NoSQL and SQL) Strong understanding of full stack development and e
- perience of working in an Agile environment
- Strong understanding of DevOps concepts and methodologies. E
