Business Analyst: supporting data migration 40%

For our client from the finance industry in Bern we are looking for a Business Analyst: in support of data migration 40% (Reference N: 924497OK).

For the migration of drive data to MS Teams (SharePoint), the following is required to accompany the

internal customer looking for a Business Analyst:

• Survey and analysis of data migration needs and scope. The focus is on collaboration documents (Office files, images, etc.) on the drives
• Planning, support, and consulting of internal employees in preparing for migration to MS Teams (SharePoint Cloud)
• Supporting the migration and post-processing migration work in collaboration with the engineering team

Main tasks:

• Supporting the specialist departments in the creation of requirement specifications for solution approaches, taking into account the ergo technical system requirements
• Developing the subject-specific foundations for creating project orders
• Analyzing the overall context of business processes, organizational structures, IT - as well as the use of material resources and identifying weak points
• Collecting, reviewing and documenting the technical needs and expectations of organizational units in their project plans
• Developing solution proposals and decision-making bases based on the recorded requirements
• Developing proposals for optimization options in terms of organizational structure and processes
• Translating business requirements into ICT requirements
• Processing change requests from clients and project committees and preparing the relevant decision-making bases for further action
• Preparation of quality assurance measures according to the specified requirements
• Evaluate and validate operational solutions with regard to project specifications
• Creating test cases, evaluating and accompanying user tests
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders and present the results of this communication

Do you have experience in Software development?, * Relevant experience at least 5 years.

• Methodological competence, project management, SAFe knowledge
• Ability to abstract, design & problem solving, dealing with complexity
• Communication (including assertiveness & persuasiveness)
• Self-management/leading oneself
• Teamwork skills, conflict resolution skills and enthusiasm for agile software development
• Desirable: Jira, SQL, application engineering, architectures, data management/data engineering
