Commercial Banking Tribe

You'll be joining the Commercial Bank Data Solutions Tribe, who is focusing on the special needs of the small and medium enterprise clients in Germany, a designated area for further growth and investment within Corporate Bank.

We are responsible for the digital transformation of ~800.000 clients in 3 brands, i.e. the establishment of the BizBanking platform including development of digital sales and service processes as well as the automation of processes for this client segment.

Our tribe domain is on a journey of an extensive digitalisation of business processes and to migrate our applications to the cloud. On that we are working jointly together with our business colleagues in an agile setup and collaborating closely with stakeholders and engineers from other areas thriving to achieve a highly automated and adoptable process and application landscape.

As a Data engineer (m/f/x) you will work in our data squad, implement reusable data products, and setting up the infrastructure needed to support our business use cases., * Loading data from various systems of record into our platform and make them available for further use.

  • Provide infrastructure as code with terraform for data platform and transformation.
  • Automate deployment and test processes to deliver fast incremental improvements of our application and platform.
  • Implement data governance and protection to adhere regulatory requirements and policies.
  • You will work in an agile setup, helping with feedback to improve our way of working.

Requirements

  • University degree with technological or scientific focus or equivalent working experience.
  • Strong programming skills in Java and experience with Apache Airflow.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and technologies like Google BigQuery, etc. including proficient with SQL.
  • Broad experience with infrastructure automation like Terraform, Ansible, or Helm.
  • You are good team player with a passion for technology and engineering and can communicate fluently in English.
