Job description

Beyond research, you will play a key role in:

  • Shaping future projects by contributing to grant proposals (national and European).
  • Publishing in top-tier international journals and conferences.
  • Exploring collaborations with industry and academic partners.
  • Mentoring MSc and PhD students and co-creating new research directions.

Requirements

Career Stage: Recognized Researcher (R2) (PhD holders or equivalent who are not yet fully independent)

Job Position:

Are you passionate about distributed systems, edge computing, and cloud architectures? Do you want to build your research career in a dynamic environment with opportunities to lead projects, collaborate internationally, and publish cutting-edge results?, * A PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field (meeting Juan de la Cierva eligibility requirements).

  • Strong background in computer engineering, distributed systems, edge computing, or cloud computing.
  • Experience with IoT platforms, virtualization/containerization, or large-scale data processing is highly valued.
  • A track record of publications in recognized venues.
  • Motivation to grow toward independent research leadership.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; Spanish is a plus but not required., PhD or equivalent, PhD maximum 2 years before the date of the call
