Job description
As the Senior Product Designer, you will be responsible for the UX/UI across multiple websites, executing a robust UI/UX architecture with a strong focus on the design systems to streamline the design process and promote collaboration and alignment between the product and development teams. This will also involve working very closely with the product Owners and Product Manager to prioritise objectively the goals to ensure business growth, scalability, and excellence in delivery.
Your Role and Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Product Owners to define the UX/UI product requirements: user journeys, flows, usability, and designs.
- Ability to research and analyze markets and competitors, including types of devices and responsiveness, to create solutions that meet UX/UI requirements and goals.
- Define, plan, and execute a robust UI/UX architecture process for multiple websites on desktop, tablet, and mobile, including dynamic and static features, which also include multiple versions.
- Define, maintain, and optimise a strong UX/UI design system, with components, style guides, and libraries, which ensures consistency, efficiency, and scalability to ensure complete collaboration within the team and an improved User experience.
- Provide support to the Product Owners and Developers during the development phase. Including the UX/UI presentation, technical refinement, and QA of the development.
- Ability to dive deep into both qualitative and quantitative data in order to bring forward new insights that generate product innovations.
- Communicate UX/UI opportunities, new trends, and innovation to the product team and Product Manager.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design in a software or tech-driven environment.
- Strong portfolio of design projects and UI/UX processes.
- Bachelor's degree in design, related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Solid knowledge of Figma, Illustrator, and Photoshop tools, with attention to detail.
- Experience in interaction design for devices, typography, color, and page layout.
- Experience carrying out usability and product research, and the product development lifecycle.
- Strong organizational skills and experience working with multiple designs and versions in parallel.
- Familiarity with data analysis and comprehension.
- Excellent communication skills, a team player with a positive attitude.
- Problem solver and results-driven, with a can-do attitude.
- Advanced proficiency in English and Spanish (written and spoken), ideally with experience in international environments.
