Job description

As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure that supports complex, distributed systems. You will work closely with protocol, smart contract, and software engineering teams to design tools and environments that streamline development workflows and ensure robust platform performance. This role emphasizes hands-on infrastructure engineering, automation, and observability, providing an opportunity to influence technical strategy and architecture. Your work will directly impact system reliability, security, and the efficiency of large-scale, high-performance platforms., * Design, deploy, and maintain multi-cloud and bare metal infrastructure for large-scale applications.

  • Build internal tools and platforms to enhance developer productivity and workflow efficiency.
  • Ensure high uptime, service reliability, and smooth inter-service communication.
  • Maintain strong security practices and compliance standards (SOC 2, ISO frameworks).
  • Improve observability, monitoring, and alerting across infrastructure and services.
  • Guide architectural decisions and promote best practices within the engineering team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess risk and deliver resilient platform solutions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in infrastructure or platform engineering in high-standard, production environments.
  • Strong expertise in Kubernetes and container orchestration.
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Terragrunt, and Helm.
  • Experience with observability and monitoring tools (Prometheus, PromQL, Grafana, Thanos).
  • Knowledge of secure infrastructure management (e.g., Vault, KMS).
  • Ability to make clear technical decisions and collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Proven interest in Web3, blockchain, and cryptocurrency, with understanding of protocols, staking, and DeFi.
  • Fluent in English; French is a plus for hybrid locations.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience building internal developer platforms or high-availability systems.
  • Background in user-facing or API-based product deployment.
  • Previous work in certified environments (SOC2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, HIPAA).
  • Experience with data tooling such as BigQuery, Airbyte, or DBT.
