Gamification/Game Design Expert

• Partner with product managers, UX/UI designers, and developers to shape playful, meaningful user experiences.
• Design game mechanics, engagement loops, and reward systems that increase motivation, learning, and long-term use.
• Translate complex investment concepts into simple, intuitive interactions and narratives.
• Use behavioral design principles (nudges, feedback, progress, goals) to drive better financial habits.
• Define and document interaction patterns, flows, and mechanics in a way that's easy to build and test.
• Bring storytelling into the product: themes, metaphors, emotional cues, and micro-copy that make users feel guided and supported.
• Collaborate with data scientists to measure engagement, experiment with mechanics, and iterate based on insights.
• Contribute to design reviews, product workshops, and client meetings as the go-to person for gamification and engagement design., * Think like a product person, not just a visual or feature designer.
• Enjoy experimenting with new ideas, patterns, and interaction models.
• Care about how users feel, not just what they click.
• Like collaborating early and often with product, design, and engineering.
• Prefer shipping and iterating over endless debates and documentation.

Do you have experience in UX?, We don't expect you to match every point, but you should recognize yourself in most of these:

• You have proven experience as a game designer, gamification specialist, UX designer with playful products, or similar role.
• You understand how to design engagement loops, progression, and feedback systems.
• You have a solid grasp of human motivation, behavioral design, or user psychology.
• You can clearly explain your design decisions to both business stakeholders and developers.
• You are comfortable working from early idea to detailed interaction specs.
• You are fluent in English (spoken and written).

Bonus points if you:

• Have worked in fintech, finance, or other complex/regulated industries.
• Have experience with analytics, A/B testing, or experimentation frameworks.
• Have a portfolio showing game mechanics, gamified flows, or playful UX.

Skills & attitude

• Comfortable designing and documenting mechanics: states, rules, rewards, progression, and edge cases.
• Able to work with UX tools (e.g. Figma, FigJam, Miro) to express flows and interactions.
• Happy to jump between high-level concept and detailed UX: wireframes, copy suggestions, interaction notes.
• Able to talk to both product and tech: you understand constraints and design within them.
• Curious about financial products and willing to learn enough to design responsibly.
• Structured in your thinking, but playful in your solutions.
