Job description

The IT Order-to-Cash Manager will oversee the global Order-to-Cash (OTC) application landscape, driving the design, implementation and operational support of the SAP S/4HANA (specifically SD and GTS) modules within the OTC process. This role acts as a bridge between business functions (Finance, Logistics, Customer Service) and IT, ensuring the OTC systems deliver efficient, compliant and user-centric end-to-end processes from order entry through billing, shipping/export compliance and cash collection., * Lead the global strategy, design and implementation of SAP SD and SAP GTS modules across the OTC value chain (order management, pricing, billing, shipping/logistics, export compliance, credit management).

  • Own the end-to-end OTC application landscape: define landscape architecture, govern catalogue of OTC systems, integrations (ERP, TMS, WMS, CRM, credit management, external compliance engines) and monitor component health.
  • Drive continuous improvement of OTC systems: identify process bottlenecks, lead optimization and standardization initiatives, deploy automation and tooling to improve efficiency, data quality and user experience.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Logistics, Customer Service and other stakeholders to align OTC system capabilities with evolving business requirements and compliance expectations (e.g., export controls, data governance, audit).
  • Lead and mentor a global team of SAP functional consultants and technical experts (internal and external, e.g., TCS or other service providers). Set objectives, develop their capabilities, manage performance and workload.
  • Own incident, change and release management for the OTC application landscape: ensure robust governance, minimise business disruption, enforce change controls and maintain system integrity.
  • Monitor system performance, proactively identify risks or bottlenecks (eg change backlog, interface errors, data integrity issues), propose mitigation and recovery measures.
  • Support digital transformation initiatives (e.g., move to S/4HANA, cloud, process-to-platform transformations) that impact OTC systems; play a key role in roadmap planning, vendor evaluation, business case development and implementation.
  • Ensure data accuracy, controls and compliance with internal policies (e.g., SOX) and external regulations (e.g., export compliance, GDPR, credit-and-collections regulation).
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for OTC systems (system uptime, change success rate, order-to-cash cycle time, error rates, user satisfaction), report to senior management and drive action plans.

Requirements

Do you have experience in SAP S/4HANA?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field; Master's preferred.

  • Proven experience with SAP SD module (and SAP GTS) within Order-to-Cash landscape; ideally at least one full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementation.
  • Strong understanding of the OTC end-to-end process (order entry, pricing, billing, shipping, export compliance, credit management, collections).
  • Experience in managing global teams, vendor/outsourcing partners, and cross-regional system landscapes.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements, standardisation and automation in a complex ERP environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, able to interact with business leaders, IT and third-party service providers.
  • Solid governance mindset: change management, incident management, system controls, data integrity.
  • Preferably, experience in a manufacturing or global supply-chain setting, and familiarity with export compliance (for example SAP GTS).
