Job description

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced IT/OT Support Engineer to join a leading company in the logistics and industrial sector, responsible for maintaining and monitoring terminal IT health checks and supporting both IT and OT infrastructure., * Provide end-user support for hardware and software including Office applications, desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents related to local IT infrastructure such as datacenter racks, cabling, servers, storage, and network equipment.
  • Support and maintain OT infrastructure assets, including CCTV, radio communications, biometric readers, OCR equipment, and vehicle-mounted terminals.
  • Manage service requests and incident tickets, ensuring resolution within agreed SLAs.
  • Participate in technical projects involving system upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Contribute to the IT/OT knowledge base by documenting troubleshooting guides and solutions.
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and problem-solving activities.
  • Support and monitor datacenter operations, ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with regional and global IT teams to deliver effective onsite IT/OT support.

Requirements

This is a 100% onsite role based in Barcelona, requiring a technically skilled professional who can work independently, handle incident and service management (L1 & L2), and contribute to the stability and security of critical systems., * Degree in IT Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.

  • Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in IT/OT support roles.

  • Strong knowledge of VMware and/or Cisco networking technologies, beyond basic monitoring.

  • ITIL knowledge or certification is highly desirable.

  • Proven experience in incident management, routine IT service maintenance, and technical support.

  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Fluency in both English and Spanish is mandatory.

  • Ability to work independently and deliver results in a critical onsite environment. Additional Information
