Europ Assistance (EA) has grown significantly over the last few years, driven by major contracts wins with global clients (Airbnb, Expedia, Booking, Flight Center, American Express), with a priority focus on Assistance and Travel Insurance, with 4bn€ in forecasted turnover at 2025 year-end.
In 2025, Europ Assistance has created a new business unit, B2B2C Insurance Distribution Partnerships, with the objective to be the unit within Generali group answering all B2B2C cross-country RFPs, on all types of P&C and Life-Protection insurance (Motor, Home, Loan Insurance, etc). In this context, the new business unit will combine internal pricing and UW capabilities with local Generali units capabilities when / where appropriate.
To support the launch of this new business unit and drive EA future growth, we are looking for an IT Solution Manager, reporting to the CIO Insurance Distribution Partnerships - to manage the IT strategy and asset delivery for the B2B2C Insurance Distribution Partnerships unit.
Responsibilities
The IT Solution Manager will:
- Contribute to overall B2B2C IT assets

Interacts with business owners and identify what actionable solution can best help sustain business growth

Ensure correct B2B2C IT assets performance by collaborating with other IT owners

Provide operational reporting

Pilot new business integration

Identify enhancement : actively contribute to design, understand business requirements and coordination of activities
- Support business growth
- Participate to upcoming RFP by identifying relevant solutions and contribute to orals and Q&A
- Contribute to shaping RFP answers
- Drive Architectural vision to support innovation

Define Delivery process and methodology for the new B2B2C business

Identify tools, architecture best practice that will help support sustainable growth

Define and advocate for a clear architectural vision that aligns with business objectives

Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement scalable and sustainable solutions

Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to inform architectural decisions
- Drive project delivery and move to production

Steer partners onboarding

Supervises the integrator and external parties
- Manage Budget & reporting

Define budget, workload and priorities

Identify and help mitigate risks and projects

Report, explain, justify all project management choices to the stakeholders
This position is a unique opportunity to take part in the greenfield development of a new Insurance unit.
Requirements
Do you have a Master's degree?, The candidate is an experienced IT professional, with successful track record

5 - 10 years of experience in IT topics (IT strat and / or IT delivery)

Proven experience in Managing and / or delivering IT assets in an international setting

IT consulting experience (eg IT strat and or delivery in a challenging and international environment)

360 understanding and knowledge of IT landscape (architecture, infrastructure, coding technologies, cloud, security,…)

Previous experience in insurance is not mandatory, but a real interest for understanding the business side and a quick learning curve is a must

Very good English, both written and spoken
