SAP Basis SME Architect - Onsite

We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis SME Architect to support lifecycle management (LCM) initiatives, migrations, and availability of complex SAP landscapes. You will work onsite in Eindhoven, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure stable, future-proof SAP environments.

Key Responsibilities

Drive incremental delivery of LCM project components (aligned with product & sprint backlog)

Define & execute migration, upgrade and runbook activities

Ensure production landscape stability and performance

Work closely with business stakeholders on requirements & backlog refinement

Lead change management and create required documentation

Provide Go-Live support and guide knowledge transition

Perform cross-team coordination and maintain delivery quality

Produce and update product documentation

Suggest and implement improvements to architecture & ways of working

Do you have experience in SAP S/4HANA?, 10+ years SAP Basis expertise

Strong S/4HANA, ECC HANA DB migration experience

Cloud migration background

SAP HANA DB, SLT, NetWeaver Gateway setup

Kernel & release upgrades

Experience across SAP modules (e.g., R3, HANA, BW, EWM)

RHEL migration knowledge

Strong communication and ownership mindset

Security & Residency Requirements - Mandatory

Candidates must meet all criteria below: At least 10 consecutive years living in the Netherlands

Hold a valid Dutch passport

Possess a VGB security clearance

Or confirm eligibility and willingness to obtain it
