Job description
As a Customer Journey Expert / Business Analyst in the Core Lending and Project Finance area within the Financing Journey tribe, you are the link between the business lines, architecture and delivery parties - internal and external. Together with the other squad members, you ensure continuous product delivery and play a key role in implementations or migrations.
We have about 50 nationalities in the Area. End-users and stakeholders reside in different locations across the globe. Teams are mostly spread across the Netherlands, Romania and India. We work in an open, inclusive, and informal environment where everyone can be themselves and is appreciated for who they are.
You and your responsibilities
The Core Lending and Project Finance area roadmap is in development. We serve primarily our internal organization: 1) front-office, mid-office, back-office of our Corporate lending operations servicing the loans to customers and 2) internal Finance / Risk for their general ledger management and (regulatory) reporting activities. As an area, we need to double down on process simplification, process improvement and digitization in the loan administration / loan servicing and reporting journeys.
The Scrum master role is evolving withing the Tribe. It may vary from a facilitating / coaching SM for some teams to intensively supporting / at times PMO-type of work if situation requires. Managing dependencies is a crucial part of the role.
Candidates combining Scrum master skills with e.g. Customer journey expert / Business analyst, or DevOps engineer skills will be preferred
As a part of the team, you'd be busy with
- Lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- You work closely with the Product Owner and improve in product backlog management, product planning, value maximization, agility and focus
- Monitor the progress of the team, help team manage intra-squad dependencies
- Guide and coach the squads on self-organization and the process so that the team has the focus
- Be creative and bold to see what works for the team and decide on that way of working
- Foster a culture of collaboration and open communication, promoting transparency and trust
- Encourage a mindset of continuous improvement in the teams and in the area
Requirements
Do you have experience in SDLC?, * Experience as a Scrum Master in a regulated industry / corporate environment.
- Experience in financial industry is a preServant leader of a team, with strong facilitation and communication skills
- Drive to improve what you see does not work well
- Scrum or similar certified (PSM 1, SAFe / RTE)
- Sufficient Azure DevOps knowledge (for relevant parts of the job)
- Knowledge and experience in software delivery, across the SDLC cycle
- Well organised, can help structuring work and instilling order / calm in stressful periods in the team
