The 70/30 model in more detail Having a background at the large consultancy firms, we are very familiar with the partner model. Work for 10+ years and hope you make it. Then you start generating income based on others trying to climb the same ladder. The partner model therefore doesn't match well with our teamship and people over profit values. We needed something different, something new, something innovative within the Management Consulting space. We therefore came up with the 70/30 model.
The 70/30 model is a compensation model based on transparency and shared entrepreneurship. You know exactly what the client is paying, and 70% of that amount goes to you.
Out of the 70% your fixed salary is paid, your lease car, pension and other costs directly related to you. What is left of the 70% is paid as an annual bonus. So, we never have debates about who gets which share of the earned revenue. Nor do we have debates on your wage increase. Your earnings are directly tied to your performance and growth that translates into your hourly rate.
During the application process we are more than happy to further explain the 70/30 model and provide you with some example calculations given your personal situation.
