Warehouse Desk Officer

As a Warehouse Desk Officer, you are main coordinator and point of contact for drivers, planners, salespeople, and logistics staff. You ensure that the loading and unloading of our exotic products runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently.

What will you be doing?

You will welcome the (international) drivers for loading or unloading, ensuring a quick process. You make sure they can get started quickly, check that all required documents are in order, and promptly arrange any missing information. You work closely with various departments, such as our customs team, sales, order picking, and dispatch. In short, you're a real team player!

You make clever decisions when assigning loading/unloading docks, check and correct system times when necessary, and handle delays or unclear situations effectively. In addition, you play a supporting role in updating purchase and/or sales orders. You also ensure that all information is accurately recorded, such as the registration of exchanged pallets.

Throughout the entire process, you maintain proper administration and ensure a positive experience for drivers, from offering a cup of coffee to making sure all documents are accurate and properly signed. You have a keen eye for detail.

Do you have experience in Warehouse management system?, * You have experience in a logistics environment or transport planning.

• You are fluent in both Dutch and English (other languages, such as Polish, are a plus).
• You are accurate, stress-resistant, and have excellent communication skills.
• You can easily switch between different departments and keep an overview in a dynamic environment.
• Experience with logistics systems (e.g., SAP, WMS, or similar) is a plus.
