Job description
As an ICT Support Officer, you are the first point of contact for all colleagues when it comes to IT. You provide technical support, resolve IT-related issues, and ensure that our systems and infrastructure run smoothly. Thanks to your efforts, our colleagues around the world can work efficiently every day.
Your work will be diverse and dynamic, offering plenty of room to take initiative and grow. You will be responsible for:
1st Line Support
- Providing first-line technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in person.
- Identifying and resolving hardware and software issues.
- Reporting improper use of systems or applications to the manager.
- Documenting and tracking incidents and requests in the ticketing system.
System Maintenance and Management
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining computer hardware, software, networks, printers, and scanners.
- Performing system updates, backups, and recovery operations to ensure availability and security.
Network Management
- Managing and monitoring network performance and security.
- Supporting the implementation and maintenance of network equipment such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
Security
- Implementing and maintaining security protocols and procedures.
- Identifying and resolving potential security risks.
Training and Documentation
- Providing guidance and support to end-users.
- Developing and maintaining user manuals and technical documentation.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Windows?, * A completed MBO or HBO degree in ICT or a related field.
- A few years of experience in a similar role (preferred).
- Knowledge of Windows environments, Microsoft 365, and networking technologies.
- Good command of Dutch (English is a plus).
