Job description
We are looking for a full-time Linux System Administrator to strengthen our IT Technology team at our headquarters, with the option to work remotely. This team is responsible for implementing and maintaining all backend production systems, as well as the hosting, streaming, and broadcast environments that support our services. Our infrastructure spans multiple sites across several countries-and continues to grow.
Your Responsibilities
In this position, you will:
- Oversee and maintain IT infrastructure across multiple data centers in the Netherlands, collaborating closely with colleagues in Paris and Abidjan.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, including performing thorough root-cause analyses.
- Perform proactive maintenance and improvements on backend systems, suggesting enhancements and implementing them where appropriate.
- Contribute to the development of the IT Technology roadmap.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders, providing assistance and support as needed.
- Assist software developers with deploying new releases.
- Keep technical documentation complete, accurate, and up to date.
Requirements
Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * You have an Mid or Bachelor level background.
- You are proactive, independent, and eager to take initiative.
- You are customer-focused and communicate clearly.
- You have strong written and verbal skills in English.
- You have experience offering IT support remotely.
- You are highly familiar with Linux environments, particularly Debian.
- You have hands-on experience with HashiCorp Nomad and SaltStack.
- Experience with Ansible is an advantage.
- Knowledge of RedHat is beneficial.
- Understanding of networking technologies such as BGP and OSPF is a plus.
