Job description

Are you an IT professional who loves solving problems and making a real impact for clients? We're looking for an Onsite IT Support Engineer to be the trusted technical expert for one of Focus Group's key accounts. If you're ready to combine hands-on technical support with outstanding customer service, this could be the role for you.., As an IT Onsite Technical Support Engineer, you'll be the go-to expert for one of Focus Group's key client accounts. You'll provide 1st and 2nd line support across a range of technologies including Office 365, Windows Server, networking, and wireless systems. This is a hands-on, client-facing role where your ability to troubleshoot, communicate, and deliver results will shine. What You'll Be Doing Managing and resolving support tickets with efficiency and professionalism Providing desk-side, telephone, and remote support to end users Diagnosing and resolving technical issues across hardware, software, and networks Supporting project deployments and daily IT operations Ensuring client satisfaction through proactive communication and service excellence

Requirements

Previous experience within an IT Support role Experience with Windows Desktop (7,8,10,11) Experience with troubleshooting Outlook Working knowledge of Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365, Group Policy, Exclaimer, DNS, Network domains, backup solutions, virtualization, firewalls and routers. Experience with troubleshooting printers Troubleshooting general PC issues Excellent ability to diagnose faults over the phone or face to face with the end user Principle knowledge of CCTV systems and troubleshooting Strong customer service skills Organised and able to work autonomously or as part of a bigger team. Full UK driving license to be able to travel as required. Desirable: Experience with Mac OS X, Linux & Android. ESXI and Hyper-V Veam. Experience with HP Aruba switches, APs and Sonicwall firewalls Experience with ClearPass. Data, Broadband, Ethernet SQL, VOIP, SANS Strong Networking knowledge
