Job description
We are looking for a Transition Lead to join our Managed Services Solutions and Transitions team. As Transition Lead, you will play an integral part in establishing and embedding effective and efficient transition plans for new Managed Services engagements, supporting the transition of services to the account and delivery teams. You will be part of a broader Solutions and transition function, where you will design holistic client solutions, which provides long term value to the client leveraging people, process, and technology. The solutions we propose to our clients must be include a compelling business case for the client but at the same time being profitable proposition for EY while keeping any potential delivery and reputational risk at a minimum.
You will report to the FinCrime Solutions and Transitions Director and / or the area GTM Leader for Managed Services and will work closely with other significant global stakeholders and global delivery and enablement teams.
Your Key Responsibilities

Actively support the FinCrime Solutions and Transitions Director to grow the FinCrime solutions capability and team through participation in the following activities:

Support the growth of the transition team within GMS, ensuring the transition team are trusted advisors to the client, pursuit and GMS teams they interact with

Build and continuously enhance managed services transition capabilities, methodologies and tools

Define, establish and utilize an efficient and effective knowledge capture process

Co-ordinate the transition community to ensure new tools, approaches and lessons are shared amongst MS engagements

Support with the development of transition training curriculum and material as well as facilitation of the training programme
Support with deal pursuits and business development through participation in the following activities:
- Work within the deal cycle with transition solution designs and contract definitions
- Define the approach to transition planning and execution
- Develop transition pricing assumptions and provide inputs on overall programme budgets
Lead the transition of strategic deals through participation in the following activities:
- Ensure successful setup and transition of all aspects of the engagement as delivery teams mobilize for ongoing service delivery
- In coordination with the client facing team, be the focal point for the setup of the engagement before transitioning to the delivery team
- Create and maintain open and trusting relationships with the client and EY leadership
- Organize the transition team and define roles and responsibilities for each team during the transition phase. This would require leadership of teams of c. 150 people, with direct reports of up to 15 people from our Global Delivery Services organization.
- Design, launch and run transition and programme structures
- Manage transition and go-live readiness across all teams
- Advise and guide all workstreams to ensure successful operational launches and transitions
- Define acceptance criteria, sign off and formal handover criteria into delivery teams, working with delivery
- Identify, understand and manage risks and issues related to the effective and efficient transition of services
- Ensure successful completion and closure of contractual obligations pertaining to transition
- Design and run transformation programs post service go-live
- Ensure complete and accurate reporting with appropriate levels of escalation to enable effective decision making
Ensure all EY Frameworks and operational best practices are leveraged while designing the solution.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in transition leadership of complex deals and Managed Services
- Extensive programme and project management experience, including management of global, distributed teams in a complex matrix organization
- Extensive experience in change management, process design, knowledge transfer design, operating model design and implementations
- Strong Financial Crime Compliance Experience, preferably in a Managed Services context
- Knowledge of Financial Crime platforms, tooling and data solutions
- Experience of preparing go to market strategy and working on client pursuits and responding to RFP's (Request for Proposal) with a focus Financial Crime Compliance.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for client C-Suite and EY senior stakeholders
- Strong business partnering skills enabling working across teams.
- Ability to produce work of consistently high-quality under pressure (time & outcomes)
- Ability/credibility to influence key EY and client stakeholders - personal style, experience and approach
- A high level of drive, ability to work independently and deal effectively with ambiguity and change
- Take on leadership role in driving the development of the Global/Managed Services delivery business contributing to growing headcount and revenues as applicable
- Detailed understanding of complex service delivery in a Managed Services environment
- Confidence and experience to lead a "first of a kind deal" arrangement and establish new delivery capabilities where needed
To qualify for the role, you must have
- 10+ years of experience in consulting, management, as well as Managed Services
- 10+ years of experience in designing and developing integrated, complex transition programs for Managed Services solutions
- Strong Financial Crime Compliance industry/functional experience (10+ years) within Managed Services
- Specific experience of preparing go to market strategy and working on client pursuits and responding to RFP's (Request for Proposal) with a focus Financial Crime Compliance.
- Demonstrated experience in Managed Services life cycle and transitioning complex Managed Services solutions
- Experience in a complex managed services environment is an advantage
- Client facing experience in terms of collaboration and presentation skills at C-level both internally and externally
- Proficiency in Design Thinking and Agile Methodology
- Ability to lead and motivate teams and work in agile environment
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field required - Business, Computer Science, Engineering
- MBA and/or Master's Degree in Business, IT or related field preferred
- Up to 50% travel required, depending on pursuit phase

- Programme & project management qualifications (PMP / PRINCE2 Pract)
- You may have any of these certifications: ACAMS, ICA, ITIL
- Service management qualifications (ITIL)
- Process design accreditation
- Some experience working in Big 4/professional service organisations
