Job description

  • Responsible for planning and overseeing the execution of Transition as per Transition Methodology / Tollgates , and acceptance of solutions deployed . This includes operational readiness, support documentation and acceptance checklists.
  • Ensure service transition is planned and executed to schedule, budget and scope
  • Build transition plans including infrastructure/application support models, change management.
  • Be responsible for coordinating implementation activities, providing effective team leadership, including information flow to and from operations during project work
  • Monitor the effectiveness of KT Models / go live and 30-60-90 day plans.
  • Assess, analyze, develop, document and implement changes based on requests for change
  • Liaise with business on release scheduling and communication of progress with all stakeholders
  • Establish end-to-end project plan and approach
  • Contribute in constructing to business case for the project
  • Promotes awareness of transition planning and support process and strategy

Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities:

  • Ability to identify, escalate and manage project risks

Requirements

Manager - The role requires demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing team. Proven capabilities of setting up Multi country Finance Operations, managing process, month end close, account reconciliation and financial reporting processes, * Experience of transitioning complex F&A projects with personal accountability for delivering to time and cost

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work and team effectively with Engagement , IT Services, Enablement groups and other management personnel including on a global, virtual basis
  • Knowledge of service transition methodology, tools and templates
  • Track record of customer focus, based on openness, trust, and delivering on promises
  • IT/BPS background with experience across the Transition development life cycle with experience in different project phases
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills - must be able to communicate fluently in English both verbally and in writing
  • Demonstrates commitment to methodologies, processes and standards for transition planning and support

Supervision Responsibilities:

  • Transition manager is expected to act with minimum supervision and to deliver to schedule, budget and scope; support provided as required and requested, and is self-driven and motivated, * MBA/CA/ICWA/CFA/ Accounting egree or a related discipline; or equivalent work experience

Experience:

  • 10 to 14 years in a corporate IT /BPS/Big 4 ecosystem
  • 10 years experience in transition project management
  • Work experience in a professional services industry, preferred
  • Certification Requirements:
  • Project management certification is preferred ( PMP, PRINCE2)
  • F&A Domain ( AP, AR, R2R )
