Job description

You'll make a difference by:
- Support and Assistance: Provide assistance to internal employees or external partners/vendors who use the organization's SCM and P2P systems.
- Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the procurement, purchasing, and supply chain processes. This may involve helping users with software problems, system errors, or process-related questions.
- User Training: Assist in training end-users on SCM and P2P systems, ensuring they can effectively use these tools to support their roles.
- Documentation: Create and maintain documentation, such as user manuals and FAQs, to help users navigate the SCM and P2P systems.
- Communication: Act as a point of contact for users, answering inquiries and providing timely updates on the status of reported issues.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with the SCM and P2P teams to identify process improvement opportunities, streamline workflows, and enhance system functionality.
- Compliance: Ensure that all procurement and supply chain activities adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and best practices.
- Data Analysis: Analyze data related to procurement and supply chain operations to identify trends, areas of concern, or opportunities for cost savings.
Requirements
- Knowledge of SCM and P2P Processes: A strong understanding of supply chain management and procure-to-pay processes, including procurement, ordering, invoicing, and payment processes.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with SCM and P2P software and systems, such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, e-procurement tools, and related applications.
- Problem-Solving: The ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently and effectively, often in a time-sensitive environment.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with users and explain complex concepts in a user-friendly manner.
- Customer Service: A customer-centric approach to assisting users and a willingness to go the extra mile to ensure their needs are met.
- Detail-Oriented: Precision is important in SCM and P2P processes, and attention to detail is crucial to prevent errors and discrepancies.
- Teamwork: The ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including procurement, finance, and IT departments
- Compliance Awareness: An understanding of relevant regulations and standards in procurement and supply chain operations.
