Job description
The UK's largest gas distribution network is seeking a Scheduling Support Specialist, you'll play a key role in our Network Support team, helping to ensure that operational activities are planned and executed with precision. You'll be responsible for coordinating work across teams, maintaining accurate data, and supporting the delivery of a seamless customer experience., * Create and manage operational work orders to support daily and long-term delivery plans.
- Coordinate scheduling activities across departments, ensuring work is prioritised effectively.
- Maintain accurate records and interrogate systems to support job instructions and completion.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and efficiency.
- Support training and onboarding of new team members to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Contribute to performance measurement and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Uphold health and safety standards, ensuring a safe working environment for all.
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships.
- A proactive and adaptable approach to changing priorities.
- High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Competency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with systems such as SAP and ClickSoftware.
- A team player who is curious, responsible, and committed to delivering quality outcomes.
Benefits & conditions
This is an initial 5-month contract role and will be based on site at the Leicester office, the hourly rate for the role is £13.53 + benefits.
