Strategic Web Developer (WordPress & Avada Specialist)

You'll take ownership of website projects from start to finish, working with clients and our internal team. This isn't just a coding role - we need someone who can make decisions, spot content inconsistencies, and create clean, professional websites in Avada with minimal hand-holding., * Build and deliver high-quality WordPress websites using Avada (end-to-end).

• Interpret sitemaps, wireframes, and content plans to create structured, logical websites.
• Repackage, edit, and structure content so it flows consistently across pages.
• Make design decisions on the fly (layout, hierarchy, visuals) when content is messy or incomplete.
• Ensure websites are secure, fast, and SEO-friendly from day one.
• Troubleshoot hacked or broken WordPress sites; remove malicious code, strengthen security.
• Deliver projects at pace - e.g. spin up a solid homepage in ~90 minutes if required.
• Communicate with clients directly (weekly check-ins, progress updates, clear explanations).
• Collaborate with our existing dev (Matthew) - delegating repeatable tasks, while you handle the strategy and direction.
• Handle tech admin tasks where needed (Zapier automation setups, DNS, domain transfers, email migrations via Google Workspace).
