Job description

  • Develop, implement, and maintain authentication control and secret management policies and procedures to ensure the protection of sensitive data and systems.
  • Monitor authentication and secret management control activities to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular reviews of authentication and secret management control processes to identify and remediate any vulnerabilities or areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams, including Cybersecurity, IT, and business units, to ensure authentication and secrets management control strategies align with organisational goals and requirements.
  • Manage authentication and secrets management control lifecycle activities, including authentication credential and secrets generation, distribution, storage, use and destruction.
  • Oversee the administration of authentication and secrets control services, including provisioning and revocation of authentication credentials and secrets.
  • Stay current on industry trends and advancements in authentication and secrets management controls to identify opportunities for enhancement, automation, and innovation.
  • Develop and deliver training and awareness programs to educate stakeholders on authentication and secrets management control practices and responsibilities.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Typically educated to degree level in computer sciences or similar disciplines.
  • Strategic mind set with ability to translate business needs and market requirements into technology priorities.
  • Strong experience in Cybersecurity and Identity and Access management (IDAM) domains, with Industry certification preferred (CISM, CRISC etc.)
  • Awareness of external (regulatory and audit) requirements for the IAM function
  • Experience and proven track record to influence /manage functionally and work independently at a senior level.
  • Strong communication skills and a proven track record of senior executive engagement.
  • Strong risk and control sense and ability to reconcile complex details into organized simple views.
  • Thorough understanding of the management processes required to operate a centralised IAM function at a global scale.
  • Strong leadership and management skills together with the ability to motivate staff from a variety of backgrounds.
  • Ability to work in a multi-country, culturally diverse and time-zone separated management role.
  • Analytical with the ability to understand and resolve complex problems.
