Job description

  • Design and implement test plans, test cases, and test procedures for X-ray systems.
  • Conduct system-level testing of imaging systems including calibration, image quality evaluation, radiation safety, and functional verification.
  • Operate X-ray equipment in a lab or field environment, adhering strictly to radiation safety guidelines.
  • Collaborate with R&D, hardware, software, and regulatory teams to resolve issues and improve system performance.
  • Analyse test data, document results, and generate detailed test reports.
  • Develop and maintain automated test tools and scripts as needed.
  • Validate compliance with applicable standards.
  • Support root cause analysis for product failures and contribute to corrective actions.
  • Assist in verification and validation (V&V) activities as part of product development lifecycle.

Requirements

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical X-ray Systems Test Engineer to support the design, development, and validation of X-ray industrial imaging systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and documenting tests on both hardware and software components of X-ray systems, ensuring performance, safety, and compliance with relevant standards and regulations., Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in system-level testing, preferably with X-ray or other imaging systems.
  • Familiarity with X-ray generation and detection principles.
  • Understanding of industrial system testing standards.
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills.

Preferred:

  • Experience working in a regulated environment.
  • Radiation safety training or certification (e.g., RSO or equivalent).
  • Hands-on experience with X-ray detectors, image processing, or image quality metrics.
