Job description
This role will support and coordinate all activities within the Technical Department - a fantastic opportunity for a Food Science graduate or someone with technical or administrative experience looking to develop in the food manufacturing industry., * Manage and investigate customer complaints
- Maintain and update the supplier approval database
- Support customer queries, including supplier approval questionnaires
- Assist with completion of finished product specifications (mainly for food service customers)
- Support approval of raw material specifications, product labelling, and artwork
- Assist with product export documentation and liaise with external contacts (EHO, veterinarians, hauliers)
- Carry out general administrative tasks across the Technical Department
Requirements
Do you have experience in Microsoft Office?, * Degree qualified in a science-based subject (ideally Food Science) or equivalent experience
- Level 3-4 Food Safety (ideally manufacturing)
- Level 3-4 HACCP qualification
- Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple processes
- Positive attitude, adaptable to change, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Previous customer service or administrative experience desirable
