Job description

This role will support and coordinate all activities within the Technical Department - a fantastic opportunity for a Food Science graduate or someone with technical or administrative experience looking to develop in the food manufacturing industry., * Manage and investigate customer complaints

  • Maintain and update the supplier approval database
  • Support customer queries, including supplier approval questionnaires
  • Assist with completion of finished product specifications (mainly for food service customers)
  • Support approval of raw material specifications, product labelling, and artwork
  • Assist with product export documentation and liaise with external contacts (EHO, veterinarians, hauliers)
  • Carry out general administrative tasks across the Technical Department

Requirements

Do you have experience in Microsoft Office?, * Degree qualified in a science-based subject (ideally Food Science) or equivalent experience

  • Level 3-4 Food Safety (ideally manufacturing)
  • Level 3-4 HACCP qualification
  • Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple processes
  • Positive attitude, adaptable to change, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous customer service or administrative experience desirable
