IT Support Technician

As an IT Support Technician, you'll provide 1st- and 2nd-line support to colleagues with varying technical expertise. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and support a wide range of hardware, software, and network systems, ensuring the continuous operation of our critical business functions., * Support and maintain servers, workstations (Windows 11), printers, specialised production PCs, Microsoft 365, and network infrastructure.

• Resolve Helpdesk tickets covering core business applications, ERP systems, Android scanners, printers, and weighscales.
• Troubleshoot network equipment including LAN/WAN connectivity, switches, and wireless access points.
• Provide VPN and RDS support and monitor critical infrastructure, including backups and replication.
• Perform physical hardware fixes including structured cabling, terminations, printers, and other devices.
• Assist with project work and research to inform IT leadership decisions.

Do you have experience in VPN?, Essential:

• Proficient in Office 365 administration and applications.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Server technologies: DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, Group Policy.
• Networking skills: Switching, VLANs, Wireless APs.
• Practical skills: cabling, soldering, PC rebuilds., * Proven commercial experience in IT support.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Confident communicator and team player.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
