Job description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Mobile Supervisor to oversee cleaning operations across multiple sites, including educational and healthcare environments. This is a mobile role that requires flexibility, initiative, and excellent organisational skills.

The ideal candidate will ensure high standards of cleanliness, compliance, and customer satisfaction are consistently achieved, while also providing hands-on support, training, and auditing to on-site cleaning teams., * Supervise and support cleaning teams across multiple sites (Schools, Universities, NHS facilities, and other commercial environments).

  • Conduct weekly site visits to monitor performance, standards, and compliance.
  • Carry out site audits and quality inspections, ensuring service delivery meets contractual and company standards.
  • Deliver training and inductions for new and existing cleaning operatives, including refresher sessions where required.
  • Maintain compliance with COSHH regulations and Health & Safety standards.
  • Assist in the mobilisation of new contracts and support operational setup as required.
  • Liaise with clients and site managers to maintain strong working relationships and resolve any operational issues promptly.
  • Manage stock levels, order cleaning materials, and ensure equipment is maintained and safe to use.
  • Complete relevant reports, timesheets, and documentation using company systems.
  • Ensure staff adhere to company uniform and site presentation standards.
  • Support the Area/Contracts Manager in workforce planning, absence cover, and performance management.
  • Respond to emergency cleaning requirements or client requests in a timely manner.

Requirements

Do you have a valid Driving Licence license?, Do you have experience in Supervising experience?, * Previous supervisory experience in the cleaning or facilities management industry (essential).

  • Knowledge of COSHH, Health & Safety, and cleaning standards within educational and healthcare settings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and motivate teams.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple sites and priorities effectively.
  • Valid UK Driving Licence (essential) - must be comfortable with regular travel between sites.
  • IT literate - ability to use email, spreadsheets, and reporting software.
  • Flexible with working hours - most projects commence after 1:00 pm, and occasional evening or weekend work may be required.
